How do I format text in Message Cards?

Adding emphasis: bold

Instructions:

Insert TWO asterisks (**) before and after the word you want to emphasise. Don’t leave any spaces between the asterisk and the text to emphasise.

Adding emphasis: italics

Instructions:

Insert ONE asterisk (*) before and after the word you want to emphasise. Don’t leave any spaces between the asterisk and the text to emphasise. NOTE: You can also use an underscore  ( _ ) instead of an asterisk.

Example - This is another *important* word. OR This is another _important_ word.

Inserting hyperlinks

Instructions:

To insert a simple hyperlink, put angle brackets (<>) around the URL. To insert an embedded link, type the link text in square brackets [ ] and the link URL in normal (round) brackets  ( ). Type the full URL. Don’t leave any spaces between the brackets and the link or text.

Using bullet points

Instructions:

To insert a bulleted list, add a hyphen ( - ) or asterisk (*) and a space before each item. Enter a line break to start a new item. NOTE: the items will appear with round bullet points, no matter which symbol you use.

Instructions:

Emojis can make your cards more engaging and friendly, for example they can be used to make checklists  ✔️  ✅  ❌  You can copy the emojis directly from websites like https://emojipedia.org/ NOTE: emojis don’t always look the same on different devices, so it’s best to test how they look before sending them 😉
